Welcome to Faunify. Faunify ("Faunify", "we", "us" or "our") is an animal care organisation platform designed to help pet owners and caregivers organise feeding schedules, medication reminders, health records, inventory, activity logs, pet sitter access and other animal care information.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store and protect your personal information when you visit faunify.co, join our waitlist, create a Faunify account, use our website or mobile application, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with Faunify.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information responsibly. Although Faunify operates from Australia, our services are available globally. By using Faunify, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

Account Information

Animal Information

• Names, species, breed

• Feeding and medication schedules

• Activity logs, behavioural notes, reminders
• Inventory records, food and medication supplies
• PDF exports and care sheets

Shared Access Information

Where you invite family members or pet sitters, we collect information necessary to manage those invitations and shared access permissions.

Subscription Information

If you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect subscription status, plan type, renewal status, and purchase history. Payment card information is processed securely by Stripe — Faunify does not store complete credit card details.

If you choose to receive updates, you may unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us. Even if you opt out of marketing, we may continue sending important service-related emails about your account, subscriptions, payments, security or legal notices.

The account owner controls who is invited, which pets are shared, and what permissions are granted. Authorised users may view or contribute information depending on assigned permissions. Owners are responsible for ensuring they only share information with individuals they trust.

Our service providers include:

• Base44 — application infrastructure, hosting and authentication
• Stripe — payment processing, subscription management and fraud prevention
• Resend — transactional and marketing email delivery

These providers process personal information only to the extent necessary to deliver their services.

Faunify uses cookies necessary for the operation of our services to authenticate users, maintain secure login sessions, process secure payments, and protect against fraud. Some cookies are placed by Base44 and Stripe. At this time, Faunify does not use advertising or behavioural tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for full details.

Because we use cloud-based infrastructure and third-party service providers, your personal information may be transferred to, stored in or processed in countries outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

We implement reasonable technical, administrative and organisational safeguards including secure authentication, encrypted communications, and access controls. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When no longer required, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or de-identify it.

You may delete your account at any time through the application settings. Deletion permanently removes your account, pet profiles, care records, reminders, inventory records, activity logs, shared access information, and uploaded content. Deleting your account also removes you from Faunify marketing communications.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information; withdraw consent; object to or restrict certain processing; and lodge a complaint with a relevant privacy regulator. Faunify is not intended for children under the minimum legal age to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from such children. If you believe a child has provided information to Faunify, please contact us.

Faunify is an organisational platform and does not provide veterinary, medical, behavioural, nutritional or emergency advice. Information is entered by users and is not reviewed or verified by Faunify. You remain solely responsible for decisions relating to the care and welfare of your animals.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be published on our website with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of Faunify after changes are published constitutes acceptance.
